Send stock to agents

Your agents can only deliver what they hold. A stock transfer (a waybill) moves units from your office to an agent in another state and keeps them "in transit" until the agent has them. That way your counts match what's really on the bus or at the park.

Send stock

  1. Open Stock, then the Stock transfers tab.
  2. Tap Send to agent.
  3. Under Send to, pick the agent.
  4. Leave Send from on Office. To move stock from one agent to another, pick the agent who holds it.
  5. Under Products, pick a product and enter the units. Kushi shows how many are available. Tap Add another product for more lines.
  6. Optionally enter the Transport fee (₦), what you pay the park or courier.
  7. Tap Send stock.

The units leave the office straight away and show as In transit. Kushi gives the transfer a reference you can tap to copy and send to the agent or the driver.

You can also start a transfer with Send to agent on the Overview and With agents tabs, or Send stock on an agent's card under With agents.

Mark it received

When the agent confirms they have the goods:

  1. On Stock transfers, find the transfer under To receive.
  2. Tap Received, then Mark received.

The units move from in transit into the agent's stock, ready for delivery. Received transfers move to the Received filter.

Cancel a transfer

Only cancel if the stock never left, or came back to you. Tap Cancel on a transfer that hasn't been received, then Cancel transfer. The units go back to the office, or to the agent they came from, and the transfer is deleted.

Received transfers can't be cancelled, because the agent may already have delivered some of those units.

Return stock to the office

When an agent sends unsold units back:

  1. Open Stock, then With agents.
  2. Tap Return to office, or Return next to the product on the agent's card.
  3. Pick the agent and product, and enter Units coming back.
  4. Tap Return to office.

Do this once the units are physically back with you. The agent's count goes down and the office goes up.

The With agents tab

With agents shows a card for each agent with what they hold, product by product. Low lines are marked. If a transfer to them is still on the road, the card says how many units are on the way. Next to each product you can tap Return or Faulty, and at the bottom Send stock.

Holding stock only hides agents who hold nothing and have nothing on the way.

Quick send from the Agents page

The Send stock button on a card under Agents works differently. It moves units to the agent straight away, with no in-transit step. Use it for an agent in the same city who collects from your office. For goods that travel, use a stock transfer.

Good to know

  • You can only send what the source holds. Kushi shows "Only N at the office" if you ask for more.
  • If an older transfer shows Not received, those units aren't counted anywhere. Mark it received if the agent has the goods, or cancel it if they came back.
  • A transfer's fee is a record of what you paid to move the goods. It isn't added to any agent's balance.
