Delivery agents
Delivery agents are the riders who hold your stock in a state, deliver your orders and collect the cash at the door. The Agents page shows each one on a card: what they hold, what they owe you and how well they deliver.
You can add as many agents as you need on every plan, including the free Hustler plan. Agents don't sign in to Kushi, so they never take a staff seat.
Add an agent
- Open Agents and tap Add agent.
- Fill in the Add a delivery agent form:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Name | The rider's or company's name. Required. |
| State they deliver in | One of the 36 states or the FCT. Required. |
| Phone | Optional. Must be a Nigerian mobile number, like 0803 123 4567. |
| Optional. A different number, or a WhatsApp group link, if they use one. | |
| Optional. |
- Tap Add agent.
Add one agent for each state you ship to. A new agent holds nothing yet, so the next step is to send them stock. See Send stock to agents.
Read an agent's card
Cards are sorted so the agents who owe you the most come first.
- Units held: how many units of stock they have right now, with the first product names.
- Cash owed: what they still owe you from delivered orders, after their delivery fees. If they've paid you more than they owe, the card reads Paid ₦… ahead. See What an agent owes you.
- Delivery rate: delivered ÷ (delivered + refused) for orders with this agent set.
- Assigned, Delivered, Refused: their orders in the period you pick at the top: 30 days, 90 days or All time. Orders are counted by the date they were placed.
- In transit: orders out with them right now, whatever period you picked.
If an agent has had an order in transit for 3 days or more, the card shows Oldest in transit since with the date and number of days. Call or message them from the phone and WhatsApp buttons at the top of the card.
The readouts at the top add up all agents: Active agents, Units with agents, Cash to collect and Delivery rate. Use the search box, the state filter and Show inactive to find someone.
Send or return stock from the card
- Send stock moves units from the office to the agent straight away. Pick a product and a quantity, then tap Send stock.
- Return stock appears when the agent holds something. It moves unsold units back to the office. Tap Return to office to confirm.
If the goods travel by bus or park and take days to arrive, use Stock → Stock transfers instead. A transfer keeps the units "in transit" until you mark them received, so your counts match what's really on the road.
Edit, pause or remove an agent
Tap the pencil on a card to change their details. Untick Active — can be given orders to pause an agent. Inactive agents are hidden from the list until you tap Show inactive, and they keep their history.
Remove deletes the agent. It's blocked while the agent still holds stock, or while they're set on orders that aren't Delivered yet. Return their stock and reassign those orders first, or simply make them inactive.
Good to know
- Who sees what depends on your role. Cash figures and the Record cash and Ledger buttons only show for roles allowed to see agent cash.
- An order only counts toward an agent once that agent is set on the order. See Dispatch to an agent.
- When a delivered order has no agent set, the page warns you, because that cash isn't on anyone's balance.
