Reports

Reports shows how the business did over a period: how many orders came in, how many were delivered or refused, and what you made after costs. Open Reports in the menu. You need the "See reports" permission.

Pick a period

At the top right, choose 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or This month. Every number on the page uses that period, and most figures compare it with the same number of days just before.

Each order counts on the Lagos day it was placed. A "delivered" order in the report is an order placed in the period that is now delivered, even if it was delivered later.

The four numbers at the top

Number What it counts
Orders Every order placed in the period.
Delivered Orders now marked Delivered. The line underneath shows how many are still in transit.
Refused Orders now marked Rejected. The line underneath shows how many are still being confirmed.
Delivery rate Delivered ÷ (delivered + refused). Orders still open don't count either way.

Profit estimate

The Profit estimate card works it out line by line:

  1. Revenue from delivered orders: the order totals of delivered orders.
  2. Minus Cost of goods: each delivered unit times the product's cost price.
  3. Minus Delivery costs (agent fees): the delivery cost set on each delivered order.
  4. Minus Ad spend: what you told Kushi you spent on ads in the period.

Under the total you'll see Margin (profit ÷ revenue), Ad cost per delivered order, and how revenue moved against the period before.

The notes under the card tell you when the estimate is off. The common ones:

  • Delivered units with no cost price make profit look higher than it is. Add a cost to the product. See Products.
  • Costs use each product's cost today, not what it cost when sold.
  • A combo uses the combo product's own cost, not the cost of what's inside.
  • Delivery costs set on refused orders are listed in a note and not taken off the profit.

Update ad spend

Kushi doesn't read your ads account. You tell it the running total.

  1. On the Profit estimate card, choose Update ad spend.
  2. In Total spent so far, enter the total your ads manager shows for all time, not just today.
  3. Leave Ads are running ticked while ads are live.
  4. Choose Save.

Kushi works out each day's spend from the change since your last entry, so update it every day or two. The total can't go down; if you enter less than last time, the form asks for the running total again. Only people who can manage marketing see this button and the ad spend line.

Orders by day and by product

Orders by day shows delivered, refused and open orders for each day, with a revenue line below it.

By product lists each item ordered in the period: units Ordered, Delivered and Refused, then Revenue, Cost and Gross profit. A dash means the product has no cost price.

Further down, By state, By delivery agent and By source show the same order, delivered, refused and rate figures for each group. A low rate is marked in red, so you can spot the state or agent where buyers refuse most.

Product performance in Stock

For a product view that isn't tied to a period, open Stock and the Product performance tab. It covers every delivered order so far and shows, per product, Units, Revenue, Profit, Margin, units Bought, Faulty and In office. Sort it by Most revenue, Most profit, Most units, Best margin or Most faulty.

Profit here is revenue minus cost price only. It doesn't take off delivery costs or ad spend, so it will be higher than the estimate in Reports.

Good to know

  • Cash agents still hold isn't part of Reports. See What agents owe.
  • Reports are on every plan, including Hustler.
  • Ad spend is spread over days in UTC, so a day's ad cost can sit an hour off the Lagos day.
