Help · Products and stock

Add and manage products

Products are what your orders are made of. Each one has a selling price, an optional cost so Kushi can show your profit, and stock that Kushi tracks in the office and with your agents.

Single product or combo

When you tap New product, pick one at the top of the form:

  • Single product: one item you hold in stock, like a bottle of oil or a pack of soap.
  • Combo of products: a bundle of your other products sold as one, like "Soap + Oil". A combo has no stock of its own. When a combo order is delivered, each product inside it comes out of stock.

To set up combos, quantity offers and the checkout add-on, see Offers, gifts and combos.

Add a single product

  1. Open Products and tap New product.
  2. Enter the Product name and Selling price (₦).
  3. Enter the Cost price (₦), what one unit costs you. Kushi shows what you keep per unit, for example "You keep ₦4,500 (45%) per unit."
  4. Enter Opening stock, the units in the office right now.
  5. Set Warn me at. The product is flagged as low when the office has this many or fewer. Leave it blank to use 5.
  6. Optionally add a Unit (bottle, pack, piece) and a SKU, your own code. The order API can match items by SKU.
  7. Tap Photos, videos and description to add media. See below.
  8. Tap Add product.

Opening stock is saved as a purchase, so it appears in your stock history with the cost price you entered.

Photos, videos and description

Kushi takes photos and videos as links.

  • Cover photo link: the main photo on your store and when your link is shared.
  • More photos: paste a photo link and tap Add. Repeat for each one.
  • Videos: paste a YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook link, or a direct video file link.
  • Description: shown on your store under the name. Say what it is and why it's worth buying.

Products with photos sell far better from ads.

Edit a product

Tap a product to open it, then tap Edit. You can change everything except stock. The form shows Office stock but doesn't let you type over it. Change stock with Buy stock or Correct stock so every unit is accounted for. See Buy, write off and correct stock.

Deactivate or delete

When you stop selling something, open it and tap Deactivate. It disappears from your store and from new orders. Its stock, history and past orders stay, and Put back on sale brings it back.

Delete… removes a product for good. If the product still has units in the office or with agents, or sits inside a combo, Kushi warns you that deleting would strand stock. You have to tick I understand this stock can't be recovered before Delete for good works. In most cases, tap Deactivate instead.

Find products

Search by name or SKU, or use the filters: All, Selling, Low stock, Combos and Inactive. The list shows Price, Margin, In office and With agents for each product.

Import and export

  • Export downloads a CSV of your products with ID, name, SKU, type, price, cost, stock, active and image link.
  • Import CSV adds single products from a CSV. Use the columns name, price, cost, stock, sku and imageUrl. Only name is needed. Stock is added as an opening-stock purchase.

Importing always adds new products. It doesn't update ones you already have, so importing the same file twice gives you duplicates.

Good to know

  • On the free Hustler plan you can have 2 products. This count includes inactive products and combos. Growth has no product limit. See Plans and billing.
  • Cost price is used for profit in Reports. Buying stock with a cost per unit updates it.
