Offers, gifts and combos
Most cash-on-delivery sellers make more per delivery by selling more per order. Kushi gives you four ways to do that: quantity offers, free gifts, combos and an add-on at checkout. You set them all on the product form under Products.
Quantity offers
Quantity offers are "buy more, pay less" prices, like 1 bottle for ₦15,000 or 2 for ₦27,000.
- Open the product and tap Edit, or start a New product.
- Switch on Quantity offers.
- Fill in each offer: an offer name (for example "Buy 2 (best value)"), the quantity and the ₦ price for that quantity. Kushi shows the price each.
- Tap Add another offer for more tiers.
- Optionally tap Mark as most popular on one offer.
- Save.
The Selling price stays the price for one when no offer applies.
On your store the offers show under Buy more, pay less, with You save ₦… when the offer beats buying one at a time. The offer you marked shows a Popular flag. If you didn't mark one and there are two or more offers, the one that saves the most shows Best value. When a buyer picks an offer, their order is priced at the offer price.
Free gifts
Inside any quantity offer, tap Add a free gift, pick the gift product and how many. For example, "Buy 3" comes with 1 free soap.
The store shows the offer's name and price, but not its gifts. Put the gift in the offer name, like "Buy 3 + free soap", so buyers see it.
Combos
A combo bundles your other products into one item on the store.
- Tap New product and choose Combo of products.
- Give the Combo name.
- For each bundle, enter a name, a ₦ price, and the products inside with their quantities. Tap Add a product for more.
- Optionally add free gifts, and mark one bundle as most popular.
- Tap Add another bundle to offer several sizes, then Add combo.
On your store a combo shows a Bundle tag and a Choose a bundle list. Each bundle lists what's inside, plus any free gifts. A combo never shows as sold out.
Add-on at checkout (order bump)
An order bump suggests one extra product when the buyer opens their order.
- Edit the main product.
- Switch on Order bump.
- Under Product to offer, pick the add-on.
- Save.
On your store, when the main product is in the buyer's order, Add to your order appears with the add-on and its normal price. One tap adds it. It only shows if the add-on is in stock in the office and not already in the order.
How stock is taken
Nothing comes out of stock when an order is placed. Stock moves when the order is marked Delivered. See Where your stock is.
| What was sold | What comes out of stock |
|---|---|
| A quantity offer | The offer's quantity of the product, plus its free gifts |
| A combo bundle | Each product inside the bundle, plus its free gifts |
| An order bump | The add-on product, like any other item |
Kushi works out which offer or bundle an order line was by its price. Change offer prices with care: orders already placed at the old price may no longer match the offer, and then their free gifts aren't taken out of stock.
Good to know
- A product can be a gift, an add-on or part of a combo only if it's a single product.
- Deleting a product that sits inside a combo breaks that combo. Deactivate it instead.
- Add the cost price on each single product. Reports use it to show profit.
